Here is a new review for you guys. This review is on the book Rule by Ellen Goodlett. Want to know more about it? Well, keep on reading.
“The king is dying, his heir has just been murdered, and rebellion brews in the east. But the kingdom of Kolonya and the outer Reaches has one last option before it descends into leaderless chaos.
Or rather, three unexpected options.
Zofi has spent her entire life trekking through the outer Reaches with her band of Travelers. She would do anything to protect the band, her family. But no one can ever find out how far she’s already gone.
Akeylah was raised in the Eastern Reach, surrounded by whispers of rebellion and abused by her father. Desperate to escape, she makes a decision that threatens the whole kingdom.
Ren grew up in Kolonya, serving as a lady’s maid and scheming her way out of the servants’ chambers. But one such plot could get her hung for treason if anyone ever discovers what she’s done.
When the king summons the girls, they arrive expecting arrest or even execution. Instead, they learn the truth: they are his illegitimate daughters, and one must become his new heir. But someone in Kolonya knows their secrets, and that someone will stop at nothing to keep the sisters from their destiny… to rule.
Magic, mystery, and blackmail abound in this sensational and striking fantasy debut.”
This is going to be a short one. I am here to let you guys know that on Saturday, March 3rd Zoe from ReadbyZoe is hosting another 24 Hour Read-A-Thon. If you remember back in December Zoe hosted a Holiday edition of this read-a-thon which I participated in. So, I am so excited that Zoe is doing another read-a-thon. My plan is to read the library books that I currently have out which are: The Bad Seed by William March, and Wires and Nerve by Marissa Meyer.
I have a question for you, have you ever read the first book in a series and then months maybe even years later you have yet to finish the rest of the books in that series? Well, that may have happened to me one or a few times. So, this post will be on book series that I have started a while ago and still have not finished. Now, let’s get into this list!
1) Divergent by Veronica Roth
I read Divergent back in 2014 then I read Insurgent in 2015, I really enjoyed both books. Now, with Allegiant I started it in 2016 and never finished it. Honestly, I was spoiled on the ending of Allegiant so that was part of why I didn’t finish it. As well as I just lost interest in the story. At this point in time, I have no plans on finishing Allegiant. Continue reading “Book Series I Have Not Finished”→
Warning!! This post will contain spoilers of Pretty Little Liars
This past Tuesday, June 27th, 2017 was the series finale of Pretty Little Liars. PLL as the fans call it is based off of the series of books by Sara Shepard. The show premiered on June 8, 2010, and that was the beginning of something that fans will follow through all its crazy twist and turns for seven years! I for one was one of those people. I remember seeing all the ads for the show and being so excited for this new show to begin. I did not know then that PLL would become one of my favorite shows and that I will become so invested in all those characters. Continue reading “Farewell Pretty Little Liars”→
Happy Pretty Little Liars day to all the PLL fans out there. To celebrate the return of PLL and the last 10 episode of the series I decided to do a PLL post. This post is on different episode titles that are actual books. Now let’s get into the books…and episodes.
PLL: Season 1 Episode 3- To Kill a Mocking Girl
About: “The girls try to pay tribute to Alison’s memory, but they are still being faced with unresolved issues. Aria has an unpleasant encounter with her father’s former mistress and Spencer must face a vengeful Melissa while Hanna is trying desperately to get her boyfriend to forget the ‘old Hanna.’ But with “A” taunting them every step of the way, the girls will find that leaving the past behind is much harder than they first thought.” Continue reading “Pretty Little Liars: Episode Titles That Are Books”→
Here is my review on PLL episode 7. This post will be like the review I did for episode 6, mainly my thoughts on the episode and not stating detail for detail what happened in the episode. Now on to the review.
This is my review/ thoughts on the fifth episode of PLL. I am going to do this a little differently than my other PLL reviews. This post will be more my thoughts while I was watching the episode, mainly because when I was taking notes for this episode I wrote down mainly my thoughts. Hope you like it!
So it has been a few weeks since my last post. Which is so bad, I don’t know how this happened. Well It was partly due to the fact that I was not feeling inspired to blog or read! I know crazy. This post is to update you guys on what is coming up. I will be catching up on my Pretty Little Liars reviews. I was thinking of not doing reviews on the two episodes that I missed, after thinking it over I felt that I wouldn’t be comfortable skipping them. Also that it might get confusing like “where is episode four and five!” I also wanted to mention that I will be going on vacation for the first time in 7 years! So below is what I planning on posting the week before I leave as well as while I am away.
Now the schedule:
PLL episode 4 “Hit and Run,Run,Run “review will be up by Saturday the 30th.
PLL episode 5 “Along Comes Mary” review will be up by Monday Aug 1st the latest.
PLL episode 6 “Wanted:Dead or Alive“review will be up Thursday Aug 4th.
All bookish posts will be posted on Tuesday’s. While I am away I will try to still post on time but some may be late. Lets see how that goes! Lol
I think that is all I had to say. If you have any questions leave them in the comments!
