About a week ago I read Volume 1 of Wires and Nerve by Marissa Meyer. I had a few feelings about the book so I thought I should make a blog post about it. This review will have spoilers on both The Lunar Chronicles and Wires and Nerve. That said if you haven’t read either come back and read this post once you do. Now on to the review!
I will start off by saying that I had so much fun being with these characters again. The Lunar Chronicles is one of my favorite book series so being able to read this and see where these characters have been since the events of Winter as well as before the events of Stars Above. This is going to be a short one. I am here to let you guys know that on Saturday, March 3rd Zoe from ReadbyZoe is hosting another 24 Hour Read-A-Thon. If you remember back in December Zoe hosted a Holiday edition of this read-a-thon which I participated in. So, I am so excited that Zoe is doing another read-a-thon. My plan is to read the library books that I currently have out which are: The Bad Seed by William March, and Wires and Nerve by Marissa Meyer.

This post is going to be the Rapid Fire Book Tag. I will be answering the following questions as quickly as I can without thinking about it too much. This tag was created by Girl Reading on YouTube. Check out her original video! Now let’s get into the questions.
Side Note: If I mention a book and I have a review for that book I will link my reviews.
1)E-Book or Physical Book?
– Physical Book: It’s just so much better to hold an actual book.
2)Paperback or Hardback?
– For my shelves hardback. But to read I feel paperback is easier to read/ travel with. Continue reading “Rapid Fire Book Tag”
Today I will be discussing what bookish things I did in April and what I plan to accomplish in May. I did not read so much in April but I plan on changing that in May. So let us get into it.

Today I will be telling you all about my thoughts on the short story Something Old, Something New from the book Stars Above by: Marissa Meyer. This is a collection of short stories set in the Lunar Chronicles world. Some stories are related to the characters that are in the Lunar Chronicles others are just set in the same world. I only read the story Something Old, Something New before I had to return the book back to the library. In this story we get to see where all our favorite characters are after the events of Winter the forth book in the Lunar Chronicles.
I really did enjoy this story because I really wanted to know how all the characters were. Also I knew there was going to be a wedding and I had to know who got married. I have to say I was a little disappointed on the couple that did get married, mainly because they weren’t my favorite couple. I did love the interactions between all the characters and finding out what they had been up to.
That is the end of non spoilers so if you have not read Something Old, Something New stop here! Otherwise continue reading for my spoiler review.
