Hello there!

I have finally finished reading One Dark Throne by Kendare Blake! That took me over a month to read and I am not sure why because I really enjoyed it. One Dark Throne is the sequel to Three Dark Crowns, so there will be spoilers on Three Dark Crowns in case you haven’t read it yet. I have a review on Three Dark Crowns if you want a spoiler-free review of the first book.

About:

One Dark Throne starts a little bit after where we left off in Three Dark Crowns. After the crazy events that went down in Three Dark Crowns we get to see how the three Queens react to those events. Katharine somehow made it out alive out of the Breccia Domain and is more determined than ever to win the crown. Arsinoe has learned that she is not a Naturalist but a poisoner, so she needs to figure out how to take advantage of this secret. Mirabella has to try to keep the people around her from getting hurt. Writing Update #2

Hello there!

Okay, I know what you are thinking. My last writing update was in May! Yes you read that right May. Well, I am fixing that now because I am back to writing…well outlining. I have recently been re-inspaired on this book that I thought about writing months ago and I think that I am starting to really know what the story is going to be about and I am so excited about it. So what have I been working on?  Well, I started to outline again and I think it is going really well. I also created a binder so I can keep all my outline stuff in there. Hello there!

Can you guys believe that it is already September! Which I do not mind because I love Fall, I actually do not like the summer, really don’t like the heat. This post is going to be on everything I plan to read this September. Now let’s get into the post.

IMG_9234   Let me start off by saying that I started a few books in August and finished none. My reading momentum went downhill after BookTube-A-Thon but I plan on changing that this September.

The first book I plan to read I have already started and that is Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder which I am loving so far. I have been meaning to read this book for a while now and I just got it from the library and I can not wait to see how things play out. I have to thank Sasha (abookutopia) for bringing this book to my attention. I do not remember which video though. Continue reading “Coming up in September”

About:

“The curse placed on Oedipus lingers and haunts a younger generation in this new and brilliant translation of Sophocles’ classic drama. The daughter of Oedipus and Jocasta, Antigone is an unconventional heroine who pits her beliefs against the King of Thebes in a bloody test of wills that leaves few unharmed. Emotions fly as she challenges the king for the right to bury her own brother. Determined but doomed, Antigone shows her inner strength throughout the play.” – GoodReads Continue reading “Required School Reads I liked”
