Coming Up in July

Hello there!

Let’s make this introduction short and sweet. This is all the books I am planning on reading in July. Hope you enjoy!

1.   Lifeline by Abbey Lee NashIMG_2107

I received this book from Tiny Fox Press to review. I am currently reading this and I am enjoying it so far. It is different from what I am used to reading. This is the story of Eli who is the captain of the lacrosse team and ends up overdosing at a party. This follows the story of Eli going into rehab and starting his recovery.  Continue reading “Coming Up in July”

April,May, June Summary

Hello there!

Here is my wrap-up for the last three months. I have been grouping my Wrap-Ups and TBRs into three-month chunks this year. Well, this is going to be the last time because starting in July I will go back to posting these monthly! YAY! Now that, that is said let’s talk about books.

1. As Old as Time by Liz Braswell IMG_0891

This is the third book in the A Twisted Tale series and this focuses on Beauty and the Beast where the twist is “What if Belle’s mother cursed the Beast?”. I was so excited to read this book because BATB (1991) is my favorite movie and I was curious to see how I would like this retelling. I did enjoy myself reading myself but I did not love it as much as I thought I would. If you want to read more about my thoughts check out my review!

2. What the Valley Knows by Heather ChristieUnknown

I received this book from Black Rose Writing. This is the story of Molly and her life moving to a new town. From the start, we know that Molly and her boyfriend get into a car accident and Molly forgets something important that she was about to tell her mother and boyfriend. This was also a good read but there were things that I didn’t enjoy about it. If you want to know more check out my spoiler-free review where I go into more detail of the synopsis and my thoughts.

3. Wires and Nerve Vol 2: Gone Rouge by Marissa MeyerIMG_1639

What can I say about this? This is the second volume of Wires and Nerve which follows the characters of The Lunar Chronicles. It is always so fun to be with these characters and I loved this second volume.

4. An Ember in the Ashes (Ember #1)  by Sabaa Tahir Unknown-1

I picked this book up because the third book in the series was about to be released and I have heard so much about this series so I decided to give this a try. I did like it but not as much as everyone else seems to like it. If you would like me to do a full review of this book let me know!

5. Reflection ( A Twisted Tale #4) by Elizabeth Lim IMG_1638

A twist on the story of Mulan. In this story, the twist is “What if Mulan had to travel to the underworld?”. I think this is my favorite book in this series so far. I really had a fun time diving into this story. I also have a review of this book!

6. Allied ( Ruined #3) by Amy Tintera2C4F98A4-B2FD-4B97-BA84-107A171F3FC9

This is the final book in the Ruined trilogy and I think this was a really good finally to the story. I think I did want a bit more. I have full on reviews of all of the books in this series so check them out!

Ruined        Avenged       Allied

Those are all the books I have read in the last three months. Let me know if you have read any of these books and what you thought of them. Also, find below my video on the same topic. If you love watching BookTube videos it would mean a lot if you would subscribe to the YouTube channel that I am a part of.
