Review: Famous In Love by Rebecca Serle

Hello there!

Today’s post is on my thoughts of Famous In Love by Rebecca Serle. I read this during BookTube-A-Thon as my “read a book with a person on the cover.” I will say this from now, this wasn’t the best read I didn’t enjoy it as much as I thought I would. And I will tell you what I liked and what I just didn’t work for me.

Famous In Love is about Paige Townsen she loves acting and that is her life goal. So when auditions are being held in her town for the book to movie adaptation of the hottest book series Locked she decides to audition. This is the story of a new actress learning about the  Hollywood life and Hollywood romance. Continue reading “Review: Famous In Love by Rebecca Serle”

Review: Three Dark Crowns by Kendare Blake

Hello there!

I am finally doing my review of Three Dark Crowns by Kendare Blake! I finished reading TDC right before BookTube-A-Thon stated so over two weeks ago. So here it finally is, hope you enjoy.

“Three dark queens are born in a glen, sweet little triplets will never be friends. Three dark sisters all fair to be seen, two to devour and one to be Queen.”

About:

Three Dark Crowns is about triplet sisters that all have an equal right to the throne. The only thing is that to find out who will be queen once they turn sixteen they have to fight to the death until only one queen is standing. Also, each triplet has a certain power: Katharine is a poisoner, Arsinoe is a naturalist, and Mirabella is an elemental.

Book Series I Have Not Finished

Hello there!

I have a question for you, have you ever read the first book in a series and then months maybe even years later you have yet to finish the rest of the books in that series? Well, that may have happened to me one or a few times. So, this post will be on book series that I have started a while ago and still have not finished. Now, let’s get into this list!

1) Divergent by Veronica Roth   IMG_8652

I read Divergent back in 2014 then I read Insurgent in 2015, I really enjoyed both books. Now, with Allegiant I started it in 2016 and never finished it. Honestly, I was spoiled on the ending of Allegiant so that was part of why I didn’t finish it. As well as I just lost interest in the story. At this point in time, I have no plans on finishing Allegiant. Continue reading “Book Series I Have Not Finished”

June Summary and Coming Up in July

Hello there!

Today’s post is all about what I read in June and everything that I am planning on reading in July. Let’s just get right into this post.

Read in june banner

1) Once Upon a Dream by Liz Braswell IMG_8484

The first thing that I read in June was Once Upon a Dream. This book is part of the A Twisted Tale series where Braswell takes a Disney movie and puts a twist to it. For OUAD the twist is “what if sleeping beauty never woke up”. This book picks up right where Prince Phillip kisses Aurora and it doesn’t wake her up. I have a full review on OUAD so check that out if you want more details. Continue reading “June Summary and Coming Up in July”

Farewell Pretty Little Liars

Warning!! This post will contain spoilers of Pretty Little Liars

Hello there!

This past Tuesday, June 27th, 2017 was the series finale of Pretty Little Liars. PLL as the fans call it is based off of the series of books by Sara Shepard. The show premiered on June 8, 2010, and that was the beginning of something that fans will follow through all its crazy twist and turns for seven years! I for one was one of those people. I remember seeing all the ads for the show and being so excited for this new show to begin. I did not know then that PLL would become one of my favorite shows and that I will become so invested in all those characters. Continue reading “Farewell Pretty Little Liars”
