My Favorite Relationships in Books

Hello there!

Since today is Valentines Day I thought it would be fun to tell you guys my favorite relationships in books. Let’s just get right into the list which is in no particular order.  Also, this post will contain spoilers so read on with caution.

    1. Rebecca Brandon (Nee Bloomwood) and Luke Brandon

Book: Shopaholic Series by Sophie Kinsella

Reason: I just love their relationship. They have their ups and downs but they are always there for each other when it matters. Also, Luke is able to put up with Becky who is a handful because she is so ridiculous but that is why he loves her and all the readers as well. It is never boring when Becky is around. One more thing Luke is husband goals.

2. Cress and Throne

Book: Cress ( The Lunar Chronicles ) by Marissa Meyer

Reason: Let me start off by saying that when Throne was introduced in Scarlet I did not like him. I thought he was annoying and full of himself. Then in Cress seeing how he interacted with Cress and made sure to take care of her when they were stuck in the dessert it showed a different side of him that I really enjoyed. Seeing their relationship grow through Cress and Winter was really fun to read. Also, Cress is just adorable it is hard not to like her.

3. Natasha and Daniel

Book: The Sun is Also a Star by Nicola Yoon

Reason: This book takes place in just 24 hours and I think that Natasha and Daniel meeting and everything that happens was just such an adorable story. I also think that it didn’t feel too instalove even though they just knew each other for a day.

4. Emelina and Casimir

Book: Ruined Trilogy by Amy Tintera

Reason: For some reason I liked that when they first met they did not like each other. especially Em I mean the reason she is at the palace is to take down Cas’s family. It’s been fun seeing their relationship develop and I cannot wait to see what happens in the last book Allied.

5. Arsinoe and Will

Book: Three Dark Crowns ( Series)

Reason: First off I love that when they first meet Arsinoe is not excited about Will and doesn’t bother to call him by his actual name and nicknames him Jr. Like with Em and Cas in Ruined it has been fun to see their relationship develop especially Arsinoe start to show her feelings to Will. It is going to be fun to see where their relationship goes in the next books in this series.

That is it five relationships in books that I really like reading about. Let me know in the comments your favorite relationships in books romantic or friendship. Also do not forget to sign up for email reminders on the home page.

Until next time book nerds,
