Coming Up in October: Descendants Month

Hello there!

This post is going to be on what I am planning on reading this October. So most people go towards scary books this month because you know Halloween. I wanted to do something like that but what I chose is not scary but Evil if you will. What I am going to read this month is the book series by Melissa de la Cruz that goes along with the Descendants movies. The Books are:1) The Isle of the LostIMG_9351

This is the prequel to the first Descendants movie. In this book, we are first introduced to this world of the Isle of the Lost and Auradon. We also meet our main characters for the first time and get to see how they develop to the people that we meet in the first Descendants movie. The main characters being: Mal daughter of Maleficent, Evie daughter of the Evil Queen, Jay, son of Jafar, and Carlos son of Cruella de Vil.

2) Return to the Isle of the LostIMG_9352

The events of this book take place after the events of the first Descendants movie. I assume they return to the Isle of the Lost. lol

3) Rise of the Isle of the LostIMG_9353

This book serves as a prequel to Descendants 2. Here we get to meet the daughter of Ursula and what’s her name? what’s her name? Uma! Do you see what I did there? If you have seen the movie I know you get it.

That is it the three books in the Isle of the Lost series. I also plan on re watching the movies according to the order of how it was set up. Also, yes I have already watched the movies and that is why I am so excited to finally be reading the books. I am a huge IMG_9347Disney fan so I know it is going to be fun reading about the characters that I grew up watching. Also, on Friday (October 6th) my October TBR video will be up on Tangled Up in Books I go into a little more detail in the video so check that out on Friday. Let me know in the comments if you have read the books and what you thought of them. Just no spoilers please and thank you!

Until next time book nerds,
